This program covers a wide variety of medium and heavy duty vehicles, both for the transport of people and goods. Also included are utility vehicles.
The iMHZEV Program excludes vehicles intended for public transit and school transportation due to coverage under other federal programming provided through Infrastructure Canada. Similar vehicle types, such as shuttle buses, may be eligible if purchased for other means, such as for use by private businesses.
Conversions (i.e., converting an existing internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle to ZEV) are not eligible.
